FAS mission to Sierra Leone: “Implementing National Action Plans for UNSCR1325 in the Mano River Region”
Femme Africa Solidarité, the UN mission to Sierra Leone and Realizing rights will convey key actors in the implementation of UNSCR 1325 in the Mano River region to a presentation of the implementing National Action Plans for UNSCR 1325 in the Mano River” project. This phase of the project will review current activities at the national level, realized and remaining activities at the regional level and a share of best practice. From this pooling of expertise and efforts, national advocacy strategies will come together to form a regional strategy to promote the full implantation of UNSCR towards durable and equitable peace in the Mano River region. To ensure ownership and sustainability of the project, it will be led by a regional steering committee and ultimately lead to a Regional Action Plan.
