Hillary Clinton meets the Women’s Platform for Peaceful Elections in Senegal and applauds the peaceful electoral process in Senegal

The USA Secretary of State, Ms Hillary Rodham Clinton, praised the work of the women through the Women’s Platform for Peaceful Elections in Senegal, noting that “Senegalese women took a leadership role during the voting, including the Women’s Platform for Peaceful Elections, a network of more than 60 organizations. And the Situation Room […] was such an important clearinghouse for information and activism that President Sall made it a point to visit the first day after his victory was announced.”
